Hugh Grant will be honored by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts organization at the 12th annual Britannia Awards, which will take place on November 8th in Century City, Los Angeles. Grant will receive the Stanley Kubrick Britannia Award for Excellence in Film. Last year's award went to film director and producer George Lucas.

Grant's next film Love Actually, co-starring Elisha Cuthbert, Colin Firth, Laura Linney, Denise Richards and Liam Neeson, hits theaters on November 14th. This ensemble comedy takes place in London and France, and centers on ten separate but intertwining love stories.

Meanwhile, Grant will star in Bridget Jones's Diary: The Edge of Reason with Renee Zellweger and Firth, which is currently in pre-production. It is the follow-up to 2001's Bridget Jones's Diary.
