they don't play the music cause the cd is less than average... and they weren't that good live...they came weak on this release...the graphics on the cover was wack too....the album seemed confusing....one song talks about where's the romance then couple songs later they talk about taking one chick home......they gotta come harder to make it.....seems like it was quick and sloppy...I'm sure these guys are talented but as a fan and supporter of local music it ain't gonna cut it..

There are a lot of local artists out there but I would say that I continue to hear the same music from the same artists every hour, day in and day out. Do they pay the radio station for airtime or what? Aren't you supposed to be promoting and supporting the local bands from our 808 state or is it only the groups that you guys feel like promoting on air. Granted that Katchafire is awsome and many of the other groups that are NOT from Hawaii. Why are all radio stations promoting those guys other than our own home grown bands? Where's the support of Hawaii. Give the little guys a break and start playing their songs. We want to hear more music from different artists on the airwaves. Mahalo KCCN!

The KCCN FM100 Birthday Bash is an annual concert to celebrates with the artist and people who support KCCN.
Artist like Soja and Oshen are not even being played on KCCN and Only a few Bob Marley songs along with one of Damien Marley song is being rotated on this station.

Just wanted to remind everyone that this is an FM100 Island music concert and not a Roots Reggae concert.

Roots reggae concerts can be organized by other promoters who may be interested in providing Hawaii with international Reggae acts that is being asked for.

The concert was good. The first few acts were just ok then Kawao came up and set the tempo. Then Maoli did good to with Na wai, Manao and Jboog rocking to.

I liked Fiji, Boog, Kawao, Maoli and Na wai. They did good.

I loved Jammin Hawaiians!! Definately rocked the shell...Maoli, CitySide, Mana'o, and Lost Coast killed it!!!

Fiji, JBooge, Kawao, Maoli, Manao Company made my night. They were awsome this weekend at the Waikiki shell.

I really enjoyed the concert too. I was especially impressed by the new groups Maoli and Cityside, but i never heard of B!tch 5 or 5 B!tches? i thought the name was strange.

You guys going TRIP! I got word on the lineup order for this Saturdays Jammin Hawaiian concert. Some killer VETS who made awsome hits over the years will be opening and performing early in the day while some rookies and less sought after groups will be performing in the prime time positions. No surprise though because Mass Appeal is doing this concert and making the lineup. So you all don't need to guess which rookie band is in one of the primest spot because they are managed by Mass Appeal. Hummmmmm? Could it be CITYSIDE? And you know which rock and roll band will be performing in another prime spot because they used to be affiliated with Mass Appeal. Hummmmm once more? Could it be Ten Feet? Lol
Lot of Very good bands performing for this concert but the order is a TRIP and it is not worth going to the concert because by the time you get there Hookoa, Pohaku, Kawao, and Na wai will have already performed. This is only one persons opinion, but you will all see what I'm talking about!

Missing all the Kaina family in Kaneohe. It's always a bash, but the Bithday Bash is always da kine.

Da bangahs for this years Birthday bash should be Fiji and his crew, Ekolu, Kawao, Natural vibes, Rebel soujahs, and Manao. They others that might be there and do good is Maoli, City side, Nawai, and Ten feet. You know Kapena is always there.

Everyday I see a plane, I really get a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. I belong home in Oahu with all my brudahs and sistas. I miss the islands so much I pray and hope to return. Keep Hawaiian lands in Hawaiian hands.

You know what I wish that here in Cali we had those types of parties. There is some in S.F. or maybe even in S.D., but rarely they have a birthday bash or even any types of party. Love it, live it long for the islands.
