Doesn't Ilona Irvine have a bunch of kids? Any mother should be ashamed to sing lyrics that promote illegal drug use such as in Island Boy, i taste the "sweet island cannabis." KCCN, I forbid that other "Island Music" station to be played in my home to avoid my children singing lyrics that glorify the use of illegal drugs. Please don't make me have to censor them listening to your station too. <br> <br> Ilona, don't stoop so low just to make money. Follow the lead and examples of the new local boy artists such as Maoli, Hookoa, etc, who write clean lyrics and still become successful. Do you let your children listen to your music? Do you think you're setting a good example for them and for the other influential keiki and teens who listen to island music? It's time to grow up mommy, stop glorifying and promoting the use of illegal drugs to make a fast buck and become a principled artist with dignity and integrity, if not for any one else then maybe for the sake of your own children.
